You may know these things but there are many posts where the bulbs have been installed incorrectly. It takes some people a while to see the light as it where. There are more posts on this subject than many other problems.

If the light only goes 10 yards then they are in wrong or there is something wrong with the headlamp unit. It is that simple.

The bulbs are tricky to fit, I have done it a few times and the last time I would have sworn up and down they were in correctly but one bulb slipped as I latched the spring and it was wrong.
