Starting 60 days prior to July 26, 2012 original owners that purchased their vehicles on or after July 26, 2007 will begin taking their vehicles in for the 5 year free inspection that is required to maintain their LPW.
Source on this? I was aware that you have to take the car in question in every 5 years, but I thought it was 5 years from the purchase date, not 4 1/2 on some arbitrary date. Not saying your wrong, just wondering where you got it from. To be honest, Chrysler never told me about the 5 year thing when I got the car. I had to find out for myself.
