You are correct. I'm just saying that since the program first started on July 26, 2007....that anyone that bought a Chrysler on that day ...could schedule their 5 yr inspection 60 days prior to July 26, 2012.


The very first date that will be anyone's purchase date will be July 26, 2007. So, if you bought yours on July 26, 2007......then your 5 year anniversary date will be July 26th, 2012. As such you have to get your free inspection within 60 days from that date. So, the very first 5 year inspections can occur 60 days prior to July 26, 2012. My purchase date was 12/5/2007.....so I will have a window from 60 days prior to 60 days after 12/5/2012 during which time I must get the inspection.
