I agree about NASCAR ain't about stock cars anymore It used to be that they had to build and make available to the public a certain number (at least 500 I think) of the same car as they ran on the track. Agreed totally. It's the homogenization of brands that caused me to abandon Nascar and start following Formula-1.
Formula-1 has its share of political issues, but the cars are all quite different in behavior.
