After being a member of the Z4 forum and the Crossfire forum they are pretty much the same regarding age of driver. There seems to be more mature drivers than younger drivers on both forums.
As far as saying the 3.0 is pricey, I ended up selling my MINT condition 2003 3.0litre for the ridiculous price of £4500.

The Crossfire can also attract the sort of person you refer to because of the cheapness of these cars, as can any car.
