Thanks Mrmiata for your response to my call for help! I'm going to try that reprogramming today, didn't want to do it last night in case my alarm went off when I opened the door.

This is the fob I transferred my circuit board to, my original Chrysler fob was worn and the red panic button was broken out, so I thought I would "upgrade" to the Mercedes Benz key fob -- thanx for your suggestions.
