after having my springs install... i had my alignment checked about a week after install. the cars alignment was still at normal specs... a set-up fee/inspection charge of $29.95 applied (a very highly reputable alignment shop). so no alignment needed for my car.
as for the spring pads... every crossfire seems to end up with a slightly different ride height. you really need to install the springs and readdress the issue of stance.
my car had one of the first eibach sets on it. it is slammed by comparison of today's available eibach pro-kit set. i truly think eibach revised the kit and raised the lowering height. my car dropped at least 2 inches. i would like to raise the rear (a tad) with a change of spring pad. but i haven't had the time to bother with it.
i have had this set-up for 20,000 and have no irregular tire wear at all...even across the board.
i am very happy with the changes. i also added koni adjustable shocks to complete the suspension. however the shocks are not required...i just like a crisp rebound.
