I had what I call a 'low pedal', squealing pads and pads that did not float too well after applying the breaks. So I took apart each caliper, cleaned it, applied anti squeal to the pads and shims, lubricated the pins and lubricated the shoe slide areas.
Installed them and fitted Goodridge st.st'l. hoses,changed to Motul fluid and bled them.
Preliminary results show shoes are sliding OK with no squeal but the low pedal is still there. I just think there is too much pedal travel, that's what I call 'low pedal'. The brakes work OK, I have Akebono Euros. Some say they are like that, if so why?
