Ok...well the dealer says all things point to it being a bad master cylinder. Guess Im going try that and see what happens!!
I did not have it on a charger during the winter, nor did I disconnect the battery but I did let it run/move it a little once a month.
And I do have some braking power if I pump them 2 or 3 times. So the car is SOMEWHAT driveable, certainly not going to stop on a dime tho.....or even a dollar for that matter!
Anyone have any thoughts on the dealer's opinion??
Symptoms:
Very soft brakes
Builds braking power if pumped 2-3 times
Brake petal holds pressure but petal is very near the floor at the point that the car is completely stopped (can't tell if it is slowly falling more)
When pumping the brakes quikly the BAS EPS light comes on but goes off, will not stay on cosistently
