The first mark for the low range @ 25 deg C is 5/16" from the tip then the high range mark @ 25 deg C is 3/4" from the tip. Then the next markings are for the low range of 80 deg C which is 2" from the tip to the high range of 80 deg C which is 2-1/2" from the tip.

I bought the same dipstick
But I need to know if you insert it into the tube until it touches the bottom of the pan to take the reading??
The dipstick is much longer than the fill tube
