Glad the weather is letting you get your car out to have some fun.

The slk32 and srt6 have enough poop to get you going at a crazy fast rate in "D" ... so we can tend to get a little lazy relative to shifting. (I had)

I have found that in the twisty mountain roads (particularly going downhill) the shifting makes it a different car AND, around town (and of course around the track) when you shift to the lowest gear entering a turn you will get exit performance that the ESP will otherwise deny you.


I am flying to Arizona day after tomorrow to pick up another (my third : ) SLK32 ... and while the drive home promises to be nice, I will definitely be missing the paddle shifting the whole 350+ miles coming up the pacific coast highway
