Re: Forum outages. :(
I see the android/iPhone and pc/mac argument the same way I see left wing/right wing arguments.
People are so fixated on believing the product they choose is the best and can not for the life of them see the other sides perspective.
Brand loyalty is a funny thing because we all want to believe we made the right choice when really there are multiple paths to be taken to the same answer.
I have an android Razor max phone, an OG ipad that is jail broken, an ipad 2 I use for work, a macbook I use for travel, 2 pc's at work and a gaming rig. One of my pc's runs windows 7, one runs linux, and one I have on Vista because I love it. Guess what? They all do the same things, some of them do some things better or differently. It just depends on what works for you the consumer. There is no sense trying to convince someone to buy the product that fits you because it may not fit into their needs. Honestly my mother and sister use blackberry's still because they love the full keyboard for emails. My dad uses and iphone to only make calls for crying out loud.
The only thing brand loyalty does is screw your pocket book because you can not wait to pump your money into there next great thing... I mean look at me for crying out loud. I can not stop pumping money into a car that it seems the world hated but I love to death!
