Oh sure, single me out!! OK, I do work for Meguiar's and my primary job function is teaching people how to polish paint and other aspects of detailing so I guess "guru" isn't too far off the mark.

My suggestion, and yes it is a bit biased, is to head over to Car Care Forums: Meguiar's Online - News & Announcements and check the link to the right about "Getting Started" and check out the 5 Step Paint Care Cycle and the How To Use The G110v2 and Similar Tools articles. Bottom line - it can take many hous to put a car right the first time but once that's done, frequent and quick care can maintain a finish at a very high level for a very long time. I haven't had to buff out my daily driver for almost 5 years and it's still darn near perfect.
