Kim I agree, the taller tires do improve the looks, but they actually slow down the overall acceleration of your car. Because just by changing the diameter of your tire by 1" is almost like removing the 3.27 gear ratio, in your NA car, and giving it a higher gear ratio closer to the 3.07 that's in your SRT.
A 255/35/19 tire is just as wide as a 285/35/19, but the 285 is 9/10's of an inch taller. Thus slowing down the cars acceleration.
If you're not drag racing, it shouldn't matter to ya though.
