Also, I used the double-sided 3M tape to mount the ballasts today and am a bit nervous with their long-term ability to withstand bumps, heat, etc etc. Does anyone have theirs mounted similarly?
I went the extra mile and removed both headlights from the car. There is a nice flat area UNDER where the headlights mount that is perfect for mounting the ballasts out of sight.
Also you will find it is a LOT easier to install the HID bulbs with the headlights removed.
