But I like my quirky, stand out of the lot, cars so I WILL get a xfire.
Is the manual version really that bad ? If it is then is the semi automatic standard or depending on models? Cos I don't wanna be stuck with a full on automatic without being able to at least change gear tiptronic style.
Not gonna have time to have a look at the car tomoz as I've just finished work and I'm gonna be knackered ! So hopefully it will still be up for sale on tuesday
Really excited
Welcome to the forum. Don't be turned off by what you have read about the manual shift cars. I'm sure they don't shift as nice as your old Hyundai, but they're really not that bad. 1st. to 2nd. can be a little notchy at times, but it usually improves with age, and when the transmission warms up.
Most owners with the automatics seem quite satisified with their "slap stick" style of up and down shifting. Some have installed paddle shifts as well.
The door rust is an easy problem to fix yourself, but living near the salt air may be a concern as mentioned.
You can't get a better sports car for the price of a Crossfire, so good luck with your search.
Oh, and if you have any photos of your "Aston Martin" Hyundai, I'd like to see them.
