...the gain is a bit hard to swallow. I think the calculated hp has probably more to do with variation between runs (i.e. launch technique, reaction time, etc). But I would believe that there is some gain, maybe around 5hp (peak). I wouldn't credit the Borla much more than that (but maybe a bit, as it is a full cat back I think). My experience has been that unless you address all the restrictions in the exhaust system, generally you get held back by the weakest links (i.e. headers, pinched bends that were done to make things cheaply, catalysts, and so on). I've had good luck with headers in the past, in part due to better flow and in part due to resonance improvements.

That said, from the photos, your kit looks sweet. It's very enticing indeed. I have not yet watched the video, as it is morning right now and my wife is sleeping in the next room. I look forward to it, though. Thank-you very much for supporting the Crossfire community with reasonably priced parts. In my previous (Mazda) club, this is the kind of thing that kept the community afloat.
