Double check that the spoiler is not the issue. had a problem similar with the top. The spoiler was not seated. Put spoiler up then down and roof problem corrected itself. Also make sure trunk switch is not an issue. Lots of interlocks for the roof.just my 2 cents. Hope it helps
Thanks everyone for these great suggestions on the finicky top issues. I was clear coating mine with the top down, then put the spoiler up to clean around it, put the spoler back down properly, and later when we tried to close the top, could not complete the process w/o the warning flashes, plus the trunk would not unlock. After multiple attempts, took the advice here and put the spoiler up and then tried to put up the top -- worked like a champ!
