A very mature response, for sure. Personally, I would have blamed the whole thing on the evil shovel, and bent it back and forth to kingdom come. I might even utter "there, how do you like that, you selfish piece of SH--". Afterwards, I am sure that I would gloat about my victory over the shovel for a while, then probably slide into a deep depression about my car.

Then again, I might just go inside for a beer at that point and chalk it up to "oh well, Sh-- happens. It's just a car". Yeah, right.
