Lol, someone had to be first to f$&@ it up. Good news, sanding the rash down works like a champ, bad news definitely coated. I should have known by how easy the dust wipes off of them but for 250 a rim I was not too worried about it.
At this point I can probably call the mobile wheel repair guy and get it done for 100ish or pick up some 3000grit and a can of wheel clear and see how good I can get it matched up. It doesn't look bad currently and definitely better than the rash, the shine is just not uniform.
