I might be in the minority here, but I think that the tips of Screaminjoe's kit look fantastic. I am tempted, but I agree that the kit would be more attractive if it didn't require the stock unit to be cut. The cost of the kit is reasonable, but add whatever a new (or slightly used) stock muffler would cost on top of that, to someday put the car back to stock condition. If the appropriate flange was added, I would want to buy right away. Surely for a guy who mandrel bends tubing, a little welding and fabrication work to make the kit a direct bolt-on would not be impossible, and perhaps even justified given plans to sell it in (low) volume. As it stands, I will need to carefully consider these downsides if I decide to order this great looking, low cost kit.
