They recommend not going through a car wash. I'm assuming it's cuz the bristle's could pull up or create a tear in the dipped wheel. But power washing your wheel won't do any harm to it. So just hand wash your car instead. But it holds up great. Most people can attest to it being on their car for around a year with no issues.
If you havent already, go to dipyourcar.com on youtube and Fonzy shows you everything you can do with plasti dip, including dipping your whole car, which he has a video showing him dipping his audi. Its great stuff
