Hello everybody,
Since I'm young, reckless, impulsive, and generally unsympathetic to my fellow man's ears, I have decided to do up my exhaust. Fact of the matter is, I love nothing more than the sound of an angry engine (yes, even the dreaded drone) and I've decided to disturb the peace.
I have two dynomax bullets
http:// http://m.summitracing.com/parts/WLK-24234 and a couple of shops where buddies of mine work, recipe for insanity.
I've been around loud exhaust before and have seen that as long as you aren't louder than a Harley, rural cops don't really care. So I'm going to have the exhaust cut right before the cats (rear) and run true duals back to the two mufflers and some tips, now some questions,
Is it okay to run the new second pipe on the other side of the drive train, it is awfully close to that drive shaft. Also, since the stock tips are smaller than pipe diameter, will adding new bigger tips positively affect sound? A mechanic friend said I would burn valves without the back pressure in this newer engine, I've always been told that is a myth, any thoughts?
Thank you all I promise to update if I do anything!
