Hey John.... Yeah, I went through h3ll there for a while towards the end of last year. I was feeling really bad on a day that I was having to give a big presentation. I remember saying to myself going to the podium.... Lord, please don't let me pass out during my presentation. I made it through, and told a couple of my co-workers that they would have to tear down for me... I headed to the MedStop. I had a blood Glucose of 650. They asked me how I got there? I said I drove, and they said they could not believe I was able to drive, and I was lucky that I was not comatose. So, as you can probably guess, I was diagnosed with diabetes. I started on all kinds of medicine to get my glucose down. Then, a couple weeks later, I had to go to the hospital with severe abdominal pain. I ended up in the hospital for a week and had surgery to remove a very large stone. While I was in the hospital, I got pneumonia, and had sores all over my mouth, and on my tongue, and inside of my mouth. I think that was the worst part. I was on some serious meds for that. I was at a point that I could not even remember what it felt like to feel normal. It was the most miserable I had ever been in my life. Anyway, while I was in the hospital, my blood sugar stayed normal without taking insulin or anything else. I told my doctor that I was going to stay off the meds and monitor it closely just to see what happened after I got out of the hospital. My blood sugar has remained perfect since. The only thing we can figure is that the kidney stone had me all out of whack, and was what caused me to spike like that.
Ok, I know that was long winded, but all to say.... I do not have diabetes, and I am feeling great now.
