Mine seems to de-fog/frost very well. I get immediate results when I switch to those settings.

But, just today I was noticing next to nothing coming out the lower (leg) vents. Haven't driven much in the cold (drove today to ensure I could get out of the driveway to get the new radio tomorrow), so I don't know if it has been like that all along. Cold feet and knees this morning, though.
