No offense, but I don't think I am about to trust my car's calibration to some guy working out of his garage. It's not easy to set spark and fuel curves in the right places, and nigh impossible without some bench testing to dial it in correctly. Advancing timing too much can lead to pre-ignition concerns, retarding it too much can lead to exhaust overtemp concerns. Too lean or too rich fuel can cause other kinds of damage. Best case, there might not be any damage, but I can imagine a flat spot in the middle of the rev range or something, with a narrowly defined gain at some rpm.
I am requesting that people share their purchasing experiences just with upsolute as they are a reputable tuner with positive experiences on this forum. There obviously is a lot of wiggle room on pricing, if one guy paid $550 and another paid $400. Which end of the deal would you rather be on, and which would you rather share with your fellow members? I just want to focus on the pricing for this one item, without having to perform a bunch of searches on threads that are months (or even a couple of years) old.
