I installed an Asteroid a month or so ago.
Sound quality is much greater than stock unit which was my first goal.
The apps are weak and not the reason to get this unit. It is software driven and not hardware so it does crash once in a while, say 1 or 2 times in a week for me. Could it be better? Heck yes it has tons of potential but no way is it developed enough to reach it.
Install for me was painless, plugged right into my ISO harness (on a slk32, not sure if crossfire has exact same) just needed an antenna adapter.
Overall is it worth it? Sure, I like oddball stuff!
