I went through the touchless car wash all the time with my old car and the plastidip on the wheels stood up fine. They were white so I would have seen if the silver underneath peaked through... I also did quite a few different coats to get them to shine, specifically 2 coats white plastidip, 2 coats white wheel paint, 2 coats clear
