I wanted to say thank you for the extensive reading material on this site which I've wasted hours combing through... from what I've gathered, here are the modifications I'm hoping for:

  • Needswings CAI or Devil Horns (here's a question: I don't think I want to spend the money on the dual CAI though I love the look... Would the Devil Horns with K&N filters work just as well as the single CAI and keep the dual look?)

  • 74mm Throttle Body Upgrade

  • Headers- waiting to see what comes out of the designs being worked on

  • Eibach lowering springs (is it necessary to get all of the camber pieces as well? My Ralliart was able to get back into the OEM alignment parameters without them)

  • Wheels TBD but am considering keeping the stock fitment since the tires are new

  • Brakes TBD but probably just slotted/drilled rotors and better pads

  • Tuning- EUROCHARGED seems to be a front runner

  • OEM style Carbon Fiber hood

  • Custom dual exhaust

Now here's the big question: I'm ultimately very interested in the turbo project that's taking place and would love to have that as a winter install... With that in the possible future, are any of the above modifications not recommended? I'm assuming the turbo would mean different intake or exhaust at the least?

Last question, more of a poll: if you had $1000 to spend on upgrades/mods for a stock Crossfire, what would you do first...

I believe most will say that with a $1000 to put into it, Needswinds CAI, a tune and maybe a sprint booster. However, you'd only be able to do a single CAI if you do all three and be in the 1K range. Otherwise, I'd do the dual CAI and the tune on special.
