I like to watch a British show called "Wheeler Dealers" that buys old classic cars and then fixes them up to resell. The last episode I watched they worked on a 1985 Audi Quattro that among other problems had a good size hole in the front bumper. They were able to patch it with a compound - sand it - then paint it. It came out great and didn't look too hard to do. I have a couple of holes in my front bumper where one of the previous owners tried to attach a splitter. Not a great idea in my opinion. Anyway, the hardware that they used is still on my car and I need to remove them then fill in the holes. I will then have to take it to a paint shop to be repainted. It is not on the top of my list to do since I have other issues that are more important. Good luck!
