HI all,
I just got my Roadster 2 days ago, the heater/ac fan wouldn't work.
The little light on the end of the fan speed indicator wouldn't even light up.
Dummy me, since the fan didn't turn on, I forgot about it and left the fan turned to level 4.
About 10 minutes later I smelled an electrical burning smell, had to pull off the road
as there was white smoke coming out of the fresh air intake below the windshield
and smoke was filling the passenger cabin.

I figured out that the heater blower was the problem, have followed this thread to learn how to fix it,
removed the Blower Resister and will remove the Blower Motor and fan next.

My question is:
I know that the Blower Motor is bad, as I see black melted stuff on the motor,
but how do I know if I need the Blower Resister too?
