As to the possible dirt hauling, that's one of the reasons we bought this car. Kind of hard to haul more than one tomato plant home from Lowe's, lol.
The deck "runners" were made from flooring transition strips for durability, and the "wood" is actually ABS plastic that almost matches the dash kit material.
