I have owned an 04 for the last three years, 47K with good service history. A few weeks ago the car won't start, engine turns over but no start. I jump the car of my wife's and it fires up first time, so I figure bad battery and replace it. Car starts with no problems and a few days later (1st hot day) same no start issue. I hit the forum (which is great by the way) and see lots of posts about bad camshaft and crankshaft position sensors, mystery solved! I eagerly run out and buy both sensors (not Bosch though) and replace them both (which really does require the right tools). Car fires up and off I go, however now the car is misfiring on acceleration and seem to have and overall lost of power. So back to the forum and up comes the RCM issue and off I go again with the solder fix. No luck same issues as before.

Starting to run out of options here, could it be the fuel filter or pump, or just lousy knockoff parts? Wife is getting tired of my car being scattered all overvthe driveway every time she gets home.

Anyone have a similar issue?
