Conversion cost me £1500 and the conversion garage is a short drive from where I work along with a LPG supplier charging now 74 Per Litre. My car travels 230 miles on a full tank which costs about £30. That equates to £10 per 70 miles. Now compare that to the cost of Petrol and you will see the savings. Performance??? none because I burn it when I feel like it and dont worry how much it costs with metal to floor.

Hi Steve! Good to hear from you buddy? How's it going? Where did u get the car converter? Do u have the cylinder or the tordial donut shape tank? I have the tordial tank but they had to cut the trim to fit it in which isnt good because it looks tacky now. So glad there's someone esle out there with an lpg conversion. I need your advise please I have had nothing but problems since I got the lpg conversion in my crossfire I have no idea if it is just a coincidence that the problems have started since it was installed or if they damaged it as they damaged a few things while installing it because their workmanship is awful! I have no power in my crossfire all since it was installed. It keeps jerking and hitting flat spots especially when halting to a stop and then trying to move again. It almost hesitates to move. Before I would put my foot down barely a cm and the car was so responsive. It also either revs too low or too high. The problems are both on lpg and petrol, and they claim they didn’t touch my petrol side of things BUT they blew a fuse in the system when drilling holes under the car to install the pipe work. I get a good 250 miles to a tank but that is no good if I have the basic crossfire 3.2 (not the srt) and the tank is 70l. It feels like i am driving a 1 litre fiesta. Maybe i should see ur installers? Hope to hear from you. Thanks, Alex J
