Re: Best HID Kits
Seems like every time I find an HID seller on eBay with a good product, they go out of business. Seriously though, I have had really good experiences with the "regular" sized ballast cheapo 35w HID kits off eBay over the years. However, a lot of sellers have switched to selling a newer "slim" HID kit these days, which I tried on my SRT-6, until it promptly failed less than four months later. Bought a new kit (only $35 after all) of the regular ballast setup and have been working great ever since.
It seemed like the slim ballasts needed a relay installed, but I am too lazy for that - then one of the bulbs just died (was flickering before).
The regular ballast bulbs work great though.
