Looks like the wall is structural anyway, so I guess I had better leave it be. As far as Pinto, many cars have tanks towards the rear of the car. Its all in how you protect them and the type of tank you have. A good remote cell and a little fab work on the pocket and good to go. Unless I wanted to redo the structural aspect of the car too?? lol JK
