Just remember, you can't mess up to the point that you have no outs. If you cut too much it's not hard to find SRT take offs. If your not going to be driving 10/10ths you can stack a trimmed pad with another one. The spring won't be deep into the cup and will make you nervous but it's a short term work around. As low as your car looks, a bit of adjusting is to be expected. Don't fret about it. The more I work on my car (self inflicted) the more comfortable I am doing it.
