The seats are much like the base model except they are perforated leather, so they breathe better and they have more comfort adjustments. I've had a SLK for about 6 years and have always preferred long trips with it until I put the SLK seats into the base model. My wife has the limited roadster and I like the SLK seat better for comfort, especially on the passeger side, because you'll have more adjustments with the SLK seat. the limited seats are a bit too firm for me and they don't snuggle/fit me in as well. I'm assuming these seats on sale on eBay will have the same 8 way for the passenger side as the 01 seats I got. I think most sport car seats are for slimmer butts. try to find a later model 170 slk with power seats on a lot someplace if you can and try them out. I really like them.
