Answering your question, yes. If I could get $39,000 for my SRT I'd buy a 2007 SLK55 AMG.

A close contender would be an earlier (03-05) SL55 AMG, but the ABC suspension gives me the creeps and I simply prefer a smaller car.

The SLK is slower than both the SL and the SRT, but that N/A V8 sounds glorious and I love damn near everything about it. And I mean everything.
