Default Re: Bad Factory Amp

The amp is bad for sure. I tested the radio and speakers. I checked with several sources and they recommend putting in all new 4ohm speakers and everyones quote comes to around $750 with installation included. I am just wondering if anyone has just wired to a aftermarket stereo? I also have an amp that will fit in the factory location that is two channel and I thought i could combine the dual voice coil 6.5's and power them with it. I would power factory tweeters and mids with the new radio.

I am not an audio nut in anyway just been researching the forum for the best answer to my problem. If you had a bad amp how would you solve it?

Thanks,

-Andy
