Anyways - it has new Mobil 0W40 in it now and a new filter. Will change out again in 600miles along with a sump drop and cleanout/inspect bottom end etc. Change oil level switch.

After I changed the oil - it seems to have developed a single tick (2 per second at idle) from one of the RHS rockers/valves. It's only intermittent, I'm thinking more noticable when cold.

Recommendations?
---------------------------------

Previously with motors (4cyl), I've lifted the rocker cover and analysed the problem and adjusted - however with this V6 I'd imagine this would be a very messy business - the banks being on angles I mean.
Also I suspect the gap may be adjusted through shims (?), as opposed to screwed and a lock nut.

Thoughts/links?

Any other business I should be attending to whilst I'm in there?

New gaskets if I do it - or just be careful and reuse the old ones?
They are self adjusting. Dirty oil can plug the adjusters.

See if they quieten up with the clean oil.
