Well, I'm a little embarrassed to say, no.

Called the dealership Tuesday, and told them I just couldn't get past this "no spare tire" thing, and what were my options. The sales manager was very gracious, told me he absolutely did not want to sell me a car I didn't want. He even said that at the price I negotiated ($20,500 including 3 oil & filter changes, and mounting a set of tires) he was just as happy not to sell it. I even offered to send the sales guy a check for $100 for his time on the paperwork, but he said that would not be appropriate, and not to worry about it.

The same dealership sells Fords. If I had decided on a Mustang, I would definitely buy it from them.

So- - to make a long story longer, I'm getting an '05 GTO. It's really where I started, what I originally wanted, and I'm picking it up on the 14th, in Harrisburg, PA. I think I was intoxicated by the looks of the XFire. Got a pretty good deal from a NY dealership that had what I wanted, and it was snowing on their cars every other day. Harrisburg was mid-way and they agreed to meet me there.
