It makes good sense to get the GTO if you intend to do a lot of traveling. The lack of a spare could make you a little uneasy for sure.

After I bought my XFire, I drove it 700 miles to get the car home. About a week later, I took a trip of 800 miles. I really never thought about having tire problems. But then, I haven't had a flat tire in a very long time. Anyhow...good luck.

I had a '65 Goat at one time. That was a great car back in the day. Red w/ black interior, 4-speed with a tri-carb 389. A chick magnet...almost as much as a XFire. :-)
