You may want to remove the battery and check the vaccum line (had gray line) that runs form inside the car to the bak of the throttle body. That line controls the door flap to close off the outside air. It has been common to see the acid from the vented battery eat through the line as it runs under the battery tray. Yuo should also check to see if it is still connected to the throttle body. If it is eaten away simply cut a new section of vaccum line for the damaged section and you should be cold once again.
