I remove the coil packs first, it gives more room to work. After that you can do the job with pliers to grab and pull the metal boots off, a plug socket, 3" extension and 3/8" ratchet. Use anti seize on the plugs and be sure to get the metal boots all the way back on. You have to push HARD and with the small space to work it's not as easy as it sounds. Just take your time and don't get frustrated.
