Driving impressions of a new Rosdster!
The Chrysler Dealership that I work for just got a 2005 Roadster with less than 3,000 miles on it, so I talked the owner into letting me taking it home Friday night to see how I liked it.
This morning I detailed it and then played with all the buttons so I could get a good feel for it. For the most part , I was very impressed with the car and the looks. I really like the way the top goes up and down and the center mounted dual exhaust. This car was a 6 speed and the one thing that I didn't like was the gear shift ****. It was so slick from being metal that your hand wanted to keep slipping off. The power was good and you really don't need anymore. But I currently own a '04 GTO 6 speed and miss the sound of that V8. The Crossfire needs to sound more aggressive which could easily be fixed with a catback exhaust. So I guess for now, I'll just keep my GTO although I do miss a Roadster in the Summer!
