Yup, I initially was thinking the same.

Within the first couple weeks of getting the car (now with me for about 3+ months), I must have inadvertently turned one of the settings on once or twice. I'm pretty sure other owners have gone through this and thought that there must be some electrical glitch without realizing they also inadvertently chose the wrong setting (not the OFF setting).

For a second there I really thought there was something screwy with the car!!
