Since everyone else seems to think this is a cause for humor, I'll take it from here:
The MAF is "Mass Airflow Sensor".
The "TB is "Throttle Body".
The "Elbow" is the bent piece between the two. It has 3 large vanes inside to re-direct airflow. They are large and clunky, so some folks have taken them out. They are attached only on one end.
When they are referring to "New" parts, it usually means "Ugraded" The N/A OEM (Naturally Aspirated, Original Equipment Manufactuer) MAF and TB bore is ~ 68 mm.
The "Upgraded units are generally ~ 74 mm.
Clear as mud, 'eh?
