Larry - Thanks!
John- I appreciate your support for the mustang .. I would take a ******* Lingenfelter mustang over a Saleen any day though lol. It is kind of cool to see them crossing boundaries though, it's nice to spread the love lol.
Gary- Thanks! I appreciate all you do for the crossfire community, keep up the good work and stay classy
Doc- Thanks, I'll pop in from time to time.. I still want to see a turbo crossfire haha. What you and your buddy do behind closed doors is up to you guys

.. Prochargers on the 5.0 are no joke, the basic kit nets about 550 whp.. I already priced out a kit through the speed shop I work at and it's very reasonable, plus its available with a 5 year 100000 mile drivetrain warranty

.
On another note. I picked up the mustang yesterday and I'm in love. I'm not trying to rustle any crossfire owner's jimmies here, but here is what I noticed right away:
-The steering is much tighter and accurate than the crossfies although the turning radius is obviously not as tight
-The shifter is amazing! There is almost no throw at all, and it feels very tight and precise.
-The gearing is much more usable than that of the crossfire, I would always start in second in the crossfire because 1st was to abrupt fo my comfort. I have the lower rear gearing (3.30 I beleive) and am happy with it.
-There is much more room on the interior, although I will miss my orangey leather
-The handling is comparable to the crossfire, although I haven't pushed the limits yet. It is supposed to pull .04 G harder in the skidpad than the crossfire.
-The engine is probably the best part of the car, the torque is great and the sound of a v8 at 7000 rpm is amazing.
-The brakes are great, supposedly it stops from 60 in 103 ft.
-The traction control works flawlessly, Instead of bogging down the car it just minimizes wheelspin. I will actually leave it on in this car lol.
-When I hit 62 mph for the first time, I looked back in dissapointment when the spoiler didnt pop up
Overall I am very happy with my purchase. I did pretty much the same thing I did with the crossfire, as the car is a 2011 with 3800 miles on it. I got it for about $7,000 less than it was new and it might as well be a brand new car in my eyes. The only real option it has is the upgraded brembo brakes and wheels that go with that package, which I love. Here are some pictures, they aren't the best but my memory card was full and couldn't take more.
The last time I saw the crossfire
I wish I hadn't turned the front wheels for these but oh well lol:
