The first gen Camaro wasn't aggressively proportioned, it was well proportioned. In fact, look at a late sixties camaro, and you will see many aspects of the design which are in fact delicate and understated. The A-pillars were thin, as were the bumpers, lines were soft, and nothing much was exaggerated.
This retro redo looks like a caricature of the original. It's almost as if Chevy was so desperate to do a good Camaro, they did it to death. Too brutal for my tastes. Despite four decades of technological improvements, Chevrolet cannot out do the original for pure beauty.
